<B>Original Manuscript of Fred Bason's <I>Third Diary</B></I></B></I> plus an archive of items signed by Fred Bason to include: <B>1).</B></I> <I>Time</B></I> Magazine dated January 1, 1951, signed on cover with a personal note to Henry Luhrs, noting an article about Fred on page 63; <B>2).</B></I> A rough draft for<I>A Summers Black Magic & Witchcraft</B></I> accompanied by a Bason ALS regarding the bibliography; <B>3).</B></I> The original manuscript for "The Loveter Affair" with an interesting comment from Bason, in part: "<I>...But in 1929 I was AN AUTHOR! (capitals) Now I am merely a writer...</B></I>"; <B>4).</B></I> A copy of the <I>Swallow Bulletin</B></I> with handwritten notes that it is the only article that he has ever written about golf signed "<I>Fred Bason</B></I>"; <B>5).</B></I> A copy of Picture Post magazine, September 18, 1954 noted on cover in Bason's hand "<I>Page 5 Profile on me. Fred Bason</B></I>"; <B>6).</B></I> <I>The Cigarette Collectors Handbook and Guide</B></I> (London: Robert Anscombe & Company, 1937). The Original rough proof copy as noted in Fred Bason's hand noting "<I>The only rough proof copy of this book. I made no corrections so I was able to retain this the only copy Fred Bason 1960</B></I>"; <B>7).</B></I> Saving the best for last, the original Typed Manuscript of Fred Bason's <I>Third Diary.</B></I> Annotated throughout in his hand and the closing line of the book is hand written and signed in pencil... "<I>Except a really nice lady. When I find that lady, I will leave Walworth forever!"</B></I> An amazing grouping of material by this legendary Conckney author, bookseller, storyteller, and autograph collector.
