Original H. W. Hansen goache on board of a cowboy dashing across the plains on his horse with lariat in hand, image size approx. 18-1/2” x 10” with beautiful matting and old gold frame approx. 32-1/2” x 24”. A well-recognized Western artist, Hansen is particularly known for his horses and depiction of movement. This painting is in overall excellent condition showing great use of color and motion; the matting is fine, the frame is in overall very good condition with some wear points and small edge loss to gold gesso. Would display handsomely in any Western theme office, den or gun room. Hansen was a contemporary of Russell and Remington and worked out of San Francisco. Est.: $4,000-$8,000.
