This is an original Montana Power Company porcelain enamel sign early 1912-1940's and believed to be the earliest known example. The sign shows an early Montana Power logo that shows the state of Montana and reads "Montana Power". In November 2015, North American Auction Company sold an original Montana Power Substation porcelain sign from circa 1950's. This sign is believed to predate the previous sign as it is not marked "High Voltage Substation". This sign is also marked "Ready Made Sign Co. N.Y.C.". The Montana Power porcelain sign is in good condition. There is some minor chipping on the edge and various small repairs. The sign measures 36" x 48". The sign is one of the earliest known porcelain examples available.
