Bio of Jeri Klein from ''Fine Art of America'' written by Jeri Klein My career started in the 50's as an airbrush artist, graphic designer, art director, wildfowl painter and sculptor. For the last twenty-two years I taught decorative bird carving. Returning to my first love, painting birds, my canvas is now a computer screen, capturing each brush stroke with a stylus on an electronic tablet in a graphic file. A gicl'ee printer with archival paper or canvas and inks gives this fine art print that not only captures the image, but also my life-long learning and ability to portray each bird as a beautiful, realistic experience. In the 80's I had the honor of being accepted as a member of the first national, Robert Bateman Master Class, which I am thankful, for it shaped the style and approach for my work to this day.
