Lee's brother Edmond Joshua, Jr. is also a renowned Indian artist. when Jerome Tiger died in 1967, his mother expressed her wish that someone in the family would continue Jerome's work of artistically recording the Creek & Seminole cultures. Lee was thus inspired to become more serious about his own artwork & pursue a career as a painter.
