A great image. Printed ca 1900s, poster is in A condition on linen. Situated on the Zoute, Belgium?s northern coast along the English Channel, De Haan is the name of both the municipality and a town. The town was constructed in 1889 by Royal Belgian decree. The charming hamlet was composed of Art0Nouveaue-style villas constructed and layed out by two architects. Aside from its inherent beauty, the town may be most famous as a six month stopover by Albert Einstein as he was fleeing Nazi Germany. Coq sur Mer is the French name.
