Late 19th & early 20th century maps from older books/ atlases. One is identified as pg 59, using the state of Pennsylvania as a measurement for land size, from an 1874 edition of a text book entitled "A BriefCourse In Geography" published in Philadelphia by Cowperthwait & Co. The other is a fold out map from a late 19th or early 20th Century atlas. *The map of Europe has foxing due to age & an older water spot atthe very top left hand side. The back side of this map is a book page with information about Central Europe & an engraving of Switzerland. Europe map is 11 1/2" W X 9 1/2". The map of Italy is11 1/2" L X 9 1/2"W.
