<B>Hand-written Pennsylvania History Circa 1830.</B></I> Unpaginated (approximately 315 pages), 8vo (6.5" x 8"), marbled boards with leather corners and spine, hand drawn maps. This unique volume describes many aspects of early Pennsylvania from native inhabitants to climate and crops. Of particular interest is discussion of the superstitions of the early Swedish and Dutch settlers and the customs of the "aborigines". The text is written in a cursive script that is very easy to read. The book is in very good condition with some rubbing to the leather spine but the interior pages remain in fine condition.
