This is a very unique porcelain vase by John Butler. Mr. Butler was the Art Director of Wilkinson's Pottery when Clarice Cliff was employed there. The colors are vibrant blues and purples and golds in a swirling pattern called "Oriflamme", which means "flame of gold". The backstamp date on this piece dates it to 1891. There are no cracks, chips or damage of any kind.
