"Although this bridle is not marked... there is no doubt that Frank White #6419 hitched this bridle while serving his sentence in the Oregon State Prison in Salem" --Martin. This is a diamond pattern horsehair with a black leather backing, front brow tassel and flat throat latch. There are 2 German silver or nickel buckle sets on the rein straps that have been attributed to Walla Walla prison. The bit is an early iron ring bit, no reins.
