'DEACTIVATED No 1 Mk 1' Smith & Wesson pattern top-break double action revolver chambered in .455 Eley, produced is Spain for the British military during WWI. Features a blued finish, 5" bbl with sighting rib, round blade front sight, notched rear sight on the barrel latch, fluted six-shot cylinder with automatic extractor, smooth trigger, knurled hammer spur, lanyard ring and two-piece diamond checkered hard rubber grips with OH monograms on the top of the panels. Displays military proofs, Birmingham proof house marks and Orbea Hermanos barrel address. Approximately 65% finish retained. This revolver has been deactivated by cutting the barrel, cutting away the insides if the cylinder, drilling out some of the frame and cutting the firing pin.
