Four high quality albumen prints mounted on buff board, one on each side of two pages that may have been part of a folio of the mining activity at Park City, circa 1885.One page has a photo of the interior of teh Ontario mill, and hte other side is the headframe of the mine with two man cahes stacked and full of people. It is not a tourist shot, rather a shot of miners and the engineer. Each photo is labeled in pencil in fancy writing. The second pair is of the Anchor mine at Park City., well labeled. The Ontraio was America's largest silver mine for some time, owned and controlled by George Hearst, though it later became a public company, as did the rest of his mines. 7 x 9.5" excellent contrast, focus and condition. Park City Utah c. 1885
