Established in 1934, Der Deutsche Automobile Club (The German Automobile Club) was a party-operated mandatory replacement for all pre-existing civilian automotive clubs, in line with the Party strategy of infiltrating and dominating as many aspects of daily life as physically possible. 1) DDAC car badge, red, white and black enamel on steel, 3 inches wide and 3 7/8 inches tall, marked "GESGESCHUTZT/Br.M." on the rear. 2) Two DDAC cloth patches, black and red thread on white background. 3) A DDAC pocket map, dated 30 April 1938, with highway and gas station information for Germany and East Prussia.
