Chambered for the 4mm Long cartridge and intended for low cost indoor target practice, rifles of this type were popular with the Nazis in the pre-war years. Blade and tangent sights, with the two line Anschutz address on top of the barrel, and "J/ G/ A" logo and model/ caliber markings on the receiver. The barrel is counterbored back 18" from the muzzle, with a vent hole cut into the underside of the barrel and stock. Smooth stock, with a flat buttplate. With a pebbled brown leather sling and an Alcoso (Solingen) bayonet with 10" blade, ribbed grips and metal sheath.

Condition: Very fine as partially refinished (forward barrel band), with 95% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown patina, mild spotting and scattered handling marks. Stock is also very fine, with light pressure dents. A brown patina is forming on the sheath, with a small amount of bright wear near the point of the blade. Mechanically excellent.

B) Haenel Model 33 Junior Bolt Action Air Rifle
Blade and adjustable notch sights, with makers marks on the main body. The magazine well is positioned below the rear sight (magazine not included). Smooth pistol grip stock with sling swivels and a flat metal buttplate.

Condition: Good, with 30% of the original blue finish, showing a mixed gray patina on the receiver section, spotting on the barrel and scattered handling marks. Stock is lightly sanded and revarnished, with a cracked wrist, pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically fine.
