One Sunday Afternoon (Paramount, 1933). Lobby Cards (4) (11" X 14"). Less than six months after her career-making role in "King Kong," Fay Wray released this romantic comedy. The story centers on a love triangle among Virginia (Wray), Hugo (Neil Hamilton) and the brutish "Biff" (Gary Cooper), who's always loved Virginia. When Virginia marries Hugo, Biff marries the devoted Amy (Frances Fuller) -- making it a love square? -- but years later, he still has Virginia in mind. These beautiful lobby cards are highlighted by a card that features all four stars at the fair. They are theater-used and thus each card has been rubber-stamped "General Exhibition," with a few tears at the edges and two light crease marks on two of the cards. Fine+.
