One Russian Carbine and One Chinese SKS Rifle A) Russian Mosin Nagant Model 44 Bolt Action Carbine
Pin front and tangent rear sights, with the 1944 date and "arrow in triangle" stamp on top of the chamber. Matching numbers on the bolt, floor plate, and buttstock heel. Smooth straight grip stock, with forearm grooves and a flat buttplate. With a 12" cruciform folding bayonet.

Condition: Good, with traces of the original blue finish, showing a brown patina on the receiver and barrel, streaks of gray on the receiver, and scattered light spotting and handling marks. Stock is very good as repaired, with a professionally mended toe and dings and scratches overall. Mechanically fine.

B) Chinese Type 56 SKS Rifle with Vietnam War Capture Papers
Post and tangent sights, with the "26 in triangle" factory mark on the left side of the frame, matching numbered on the receiver, receiver cover, bolt, magazine, trigger guard and stock. Smooth pistol grip stock with a tan canvas sling and a flat buttplate. With a set of capture papers made out to a PFC John Von Thien of the 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile), showing this rifle as having been captured between 6 September 1969 and 5 September 1970, and clearing the rifle to be exported to the Continental U.S.
