1) Spanish 19th century plug bayonet, 16 1/2 inches overall. The double edged spear point blade measures 10 5/8 inches long, with an interwoven line pattern on the hexagonal flat, a double headed Imperial eagle on the ricasso, and the edges of the ricasso marked "VRRVITA" and "DIEGO DEL". The crossguard is floral engraved, with the quillions being cut-through in the shape of lanterns, the tops supported by six bars, two wolves engraved on the languet, and a fine twist pattern ivory grip with swollen bulb at the front and a steel pommel. With a brown leather scabbard fitted with floral engraved toe and throat and a leather frog with cut-through accent plates on the hanging straps. 2) Figural hilt dagger, 16 3/4 inches overall, with an acid etched double edged spear point 12 1/8 inch blade. Both sides of the grip feature a 3-dimensional scene of a gentleman standing atop a fallen man; the background of the gentlemen is cut-through completely, and the arms and legs of the fallen men intertwine to form the guard.
