One DSV Dagger, Shooter's Medallion and a Red Cross Enlisted Knife, with Sheaths
1) Eickhorn DSV dagger. Introduced in 1939 for the Deutscher Schutzen-Verband (German Shooting Association). 13 1/4" single edge blade with etched decoration and makers mark. Gilt finished brass hilt fittings, with DSV silver medallion on the clamshell languet, acorn quillions and crossed rifles on the ribbed celluloid grip. With brass fitted leather sheath and a silver and gold finished medallion from the "Erle-Middelich" shooting club, dated 1938. 2) Nazi Red Cross knife, 10 1/2" blunt tip single fuller blade with serrated backstrap, no makers marks, half checkered grips and flared butt. With nickel fitted black metal sheath with leather frog.

Condition: 1) Excellent, with a fine aged patina on the few exposed areas of the brass, a thin crack in the grip and minor wear on the sheath. Medallion is very good, with minor finish loss and spotting. 2) Excellent, with some mild spotting on the blade, light flaking and bubbling of the nickel, and minor wear on the sheath and frog.
