One 1904 U.S. Hospital Corps Knife with Scabbard and One U.S. Model 1909 Bolo with Scabbard
1) 1904 hospital corps knife. 12 inch rounded blade. The blade is marked "US/ 20756" on the right ricasso with "SA/ ordinance bomb/ 1911". The "S" shaped guard is of brass with a walnut grip that features deep finger grooves and a brass cap. The scabbard is made of heavy leather with a metal throat and leather belt loop marked "ROCK ISLAND/ ARSENAL/ 1908./ H.E.K.". 2) U.S. Model 1909 Bolo. Features a 14 inch bright blade marked "U.S./ 10806" on the right ricasso with "SA/ ordinance bomb/ 1910" on the left. Fitted with two piece smooth wood grips with three brass rivets. Complete with a Type 3 leather scabbard with a blue finished brass throat and leather belt loop marked "ROCK ISLAND/ ARSENAL/ 1914./ H.E.K.".

1) Very fine. The blade shows some areas of spotting and sharpening marks. All markings are clear. The guard is a mellow aged patina color and the grips are very good with moderate handling marks. The scabbard shows a few scuffs and scratches with minor cracking on the back. 2) Very good. The right side of the blade shows areas of surface rust and minor spotting on the left. The guard shows small areas of surface rust. The grips are excellent with light handling marks overall. The scabbard is fine with minor cracking and scuffs scattered overall. The steel throat shows 90% of the blue finish with some thinning. The belt loop is split through.
