This lot comprises one bottle of 1999 vintage Château Monbousquet from the Saint-Émilion appellation in Bordeaux.

Saint Émilion is next to Pomerol one of the best-known appellations on the right river bank of the Gironde. Merlot is the predominant grape variety here. As in Graves, Saint Émilion has its own classification for the wines produced there, updated approximately every ten years; the last time being in 2012.

The 1999 Château Monbousquet was last awarded 94 points by Robert Parker in 2002. James Suckling gave it a score of 91 points in 2010 and René Gabriel rated the wine 18 out of 20 points in 2013.

The fill level is excellent (into neck). The label is slightly soiled and damaged. The capsule is in perfect condition.
