On an Undated Good Nickel. This Average carving has seen some circulation since it was made, as a bit of the design is worn off. Probably carried as a pocket piece by the owner(s). It is an original carving, by an unknown artist, and features the "Bearded Man Wearing a Derby" effigy that about 90% of the original carvings show. The ear is very small and set well back on the head. The profile is unaltered, but the mouth has been slightly changed. This is a classic example of an average hobo nickel in every respect--subject, carving ability, and with slight wear.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
