This Original Bronze By Montana Sculptor Bob Scriver Is No. 18 Cast Of A Series Of 100 In The Limited Edition Of Original Bronze Art Work Entitled On Big Dry Creek. The Overall Size Including The Base Is 12''w X 5''l X 11 3/4''t. Date 1993.

N-n Steer (on Big Dry Creek, South Of What Is Now Fort Peck, Mt.) In The Late 1880's And 90's, There Was A Ranch On Big Dry Creek, Mont. That Charlie Russell Was Acquainted With. He Painted A Couple Of Cowboys Chasing A N-n Steer In That Area In 1904 Or So. A Company Back East, Charles Scribner's Sons, N. Y. Bought Four Oils From Charlie And Had Them Chromo Lithographed And Called This One - "buccaroos" From The N-n Outfit On The Big Dry In Montana. The First Set Of The Four Pictures Was First Advertised In The October 1905 Scribner's Magazine. The N Bar N Of The Home Land And Cattle Company Owned By One Of Russell's First Patrons, William Neidringhous Of St. Louis (on The Wagon Cover Of Rainy Day In Cow Camp.
