Omar N. Bradley: Signed Edition of A Soldier's Story with TLS Laid-In. (New York: Henry Holt and Company, 1951), 618 pages, beige cloth binding with blue and red spine lettering and four blue decorative stars on the front board, 8vo (5.5" x 8.5"), no dust jacket, clear plastic protective sleeve on boards, housed in a tan quarter leather slipcase with marbled boards and gilt titles & five raised bands on the spine. Signed "Omar N. Bradley" on the title page. The laid-in TLS is dated May 1, 1969, in which General Bradley writes to a collector for whom Bradley has apparently signed a first day cover. The TLS is also signed "Omar N. Bradley" and is presented on Bradley's professional letterhead. The book is in very good condition, as well as the TLS, which shows only one horizontal mailing fold. Part of the original dust jacket flap is affixed to the front pastedown. This book and letter comprise a most attractive lot of Bradley memorabilia fit for any World War II collection.

Shipping: Books & Catalogs (view shipping information)
