Souvenir typescript, 13 pages, 8.5 x 11, signed at the conclusion in black ballpoint, "Omar N. Bradley." A typescript of chapter six from Bradley's autobiography A Soldier's Story, entitled: "Objective: Bizerte," discussing the campaign of the II Corps to capture the Nazi-occupied French naval base of Bizerte. The piece begins: "Though now hopelessly cornered in the shrinking top of Tunisia, the Axis chose to prolong its costly struggle for time, hoping to deadlock our Mediterranean forces and thus forestall a summertime campaign against some other objectives." In fine condition, with faint edge toning.
