Ellsworth,” one page, 8 x 4.75, June 10, 1776. Ellsworth directs the Treasurer to pay “Capt. Joseph Griswold and Elihu Hide the sum of Sixty eight pounds ten shillings & nine pence half penny money for purchase & processing of One hundred ninety seven pounds Salt Petre.” In fine condition, with bisecting folds and a bit of scattered light toning.
