Old very scarce engraved map interesting old times North America for 1816, yes 1816, on about 8 1 / 16 inches high x 10 1 / 8 paper; look that North America is it New South Wales around Hudson bay; Canada with Quebec; NOT New Brunswick but Brunswick; Snake Nation 'Indian' and other unknown First Nations; some first USA colonies like Maryland, Kentucky, etc.; showing the LARGE DISTRICT of Louisiana besides New Mexico; nor the prairies as provinces nor British Colombia; nor California coastline as now as these are Spanish Towns along it; from Arrowsmiths large map; not matted; originally purchased as map of North America for 1916; this map is just after the War of 1812; as is, it's quite detailed for this time period, and it looks great, for your collection now.
