Old heavily worn and used skinning knife, approx. 10” overall with a heavily sharpened approx. 5” blade, wood handle with double rivets attaching the handle to the blade’s base; appears to be stamped “DAVIS”; appears to be late 18th – early19th century; sometimes referred to as a scalping knife.
