This is a vintage c1910s print/centerfold from a German publication. It is titled Venezianisches Gastmahl (Venetian Feast). Nach einem Gemalde von Wagner (After a painting of Wagner). It shows an exotic banquet with a peacock, wine, and luscious fruit. There are also pewter & silver serving pieces. SIZE: 15" x 22" opened.

Ferdinand Wagner (1819 - 1881) was a German painter famous for historical scenes, figures, frescos, and life scenes. In 1835, he was a pupil in the important Beaux-Arts Academy in Munich. He was well known for the important frescos in the Függeraus Augsburg Museum. His paintings can be found in Germany in the Dresden and Leipzig Museums and in France in the Saint Etienne and Havre Museums.

Very good condition with light wear on edges and margins only. Inside plate is in great shape with no damage and no staple holes. Printing on the reverse.
