Collection of props from Old Tucson Studios, including: two styrofoam prop bricks from the John Wayne era at Old Tucson, each measuring 15.5? x 7.5? x 3?, painted with a tan adobe-type stucco finish; a terra-cotta clay lamp, measuring approximately 6? x 9? x 6?, with flower and petal-shaped cutouts on the sides; and a miniature terra-cotta clay chapel, measuring 7.25? x 13? x 9?, featuring ornate cutout designs on the front and sides, with the open front doorway flanked by two towers with steeples, and the rear featuring a raised dome with thin triangular window slits. In overall very good to fine condition. A scarce assortment of original props used throughout the course of decades at Old Tucson, where John Wayne famously starred in four films—Rio Bravo (1959), McLintock! (1963), El Dorado (1966), and Rio Lobo (1970). As many of the studio's props were destroyed in its 1995 fire, any surviving pieces represent sought-after relics from the heyday of Old West cinema.
