Old Mexico and New Mexico Ephemera, 1917-'20's. The collection of this material is exceptionally interesting in that the central piece is a letter from ''Old Mexico'', dated Jan.29, 1917 to the Santo Domingo Pueblo in New Mexico whose statehood was only 2 years old. The letter is telling the people of the pueblo that they are coming to visit and asking that ''you must clear out the streets all around the pueblo''. The second piece is a delivery receipt from Santa Fe, received from the ''Catholic Publishing Company, dated February 1, 1923 for $100, ''Delivered by 'Old Mexico'.'' The last two pieces are receipts from ''Old Mexico'', one to ''The Indians'' for $50, not dated. The other receipt is dated January 18, 1929 for $75 from ''Old Mexico'' to ''Santo Domingo''. For the early New Mexico ephemera collector and history buffs, these are incredible documents to research and to own!
