Incredible archive of the renowned historic ship USS Constitution, better known as "Old Ironsides." This group contains tokens, cover and souvenir letter with photos from Seattle, another illustrated cover from San Francisco, along with a 1930 photo of the famed ship docked in San Francisco, and a velvet cover booklet by Dorothy E. Richard, Lieutenant Commander of the US Navy. This illustrated booklet tells of the initial building in 1794, the launching of the ship in 1797, battles in the War of 1812, her 100th Birthday, restorations, and final dock in the Charleston Naval Yards in Boston in 1940. She is the world's oldest commissioned naval warship still afloat, now a museum. This is a wonderful lot, please examine.
