This is a rare brass tea caddy spoon; the top of the handle is in the form of a Dickens? character, akin to the Micawber character from the novel David Copperfield. The handle is an ornately modeled twisted column, and the round spoon area is clasped front and back by a figural fleur-de-lis. This is a decorative souvenir spoon of the first order! This item is first quality, has very nice detail, and in good condition excepting a modest bit of wear from old age. This item measures 6.6" long X 1.7? wide X 0.8? deep; the weight is 2.7 Oz.
