Early Crown Derby cabinet plate decorated with birds and flowers in typical Imari style and colors. The Chelsea Derby factory was one of the first porcelain manufacturers to copy Oriental designs in England. It is marked on the underside with the Derby Crown period marked used between 1877-1890 and numbered 198. In 1890 Queen Victoria appointed Crown Derby as ?Manufacturers of Porcelain to Her Majesty? and the company added the word "Royal" to the Crown Derby name. In very good condition as shown.

Measurements: 10.2" diameter (26 cm) approximately.
