</font></strong>Old Brass Bed. The condition is not perfect but it is still a
sweet twin size brass bed. It has lovely character and would make a
Craftsman or Victorian style bedroom complete.</P>
<P>When I obtained this bed, most of the vertical tubes were loose
and the cross piece that the vertical tubes fit into was missing.
However my handy husband replaced what was missing with solid brass
tubing. The difference in the patina is really not very noticeable
as the restoration work was done about 10 years ago.
</P>
<P>The rails are not original. They were hand made by my handy
husband from steel.
</P>
<P>There are a few dings here and there. I think that the fittings
are plated with brass. Some of the brass plating is coming off the
bottom. However the rest of the bed is of solid brass. The legs will need to have some wheels or some type of end
caps put on. However we got by with it as it is by using some
pieces of wood lined with felt underneath so as to not scratch the
floor. <p> The bed is quite heavy. With this type item I can only ship within the USA or Canada. I can ship FEX EX Ground. It will be in the range of 100 to 150 dollars depending on how far you are from Seattle, WA. Local pick can be discussed.
