Oil painting on artist board signed lower right Smith with no initials showing mission with Mexican Vaqueros and cart. The artwork measures approximately 8” x 15” shows some age. We believe it was sold with woodcarvings and other artworks that were from the estate of Cornelius’s Smith of Arizona. Cornelius Smith was from an early Arizona Pioneer family and his woodcarvings are in several southwestern museums and he occasionally painted but he was a teacher and not a commercial artist. Keith and Lori Candee Collection. Est.: $150-$300.
