This is a Oglala Sioux Native American Indian stretched painted hide and quilled model teepee. The teepee is believed to be an early piece from circa 19th to 20th century. This shows turned wood sticks with a stretched hide. The outside has a unique painted design with yellow and red quillwork accents. The piece shows well preserved condition and displays very well. Measures 15"H x 10.25" diameter.
