<B>Official Pass to the Bruno Hauptmann Lindbergh Kidnapping Trial.</B></I> 4.5" x 3.5". Printed on one side of stiff light blue cardstock. The pass, good for January 14, 1935, is numbered "20" and bears a notary seal of the state of New Jersey. The pass was issued to Deputy Sheriff Alfred A. McCabe of Easton, Pennsylvania. Given the close proximity of Easton to Flemington where the trial was held, one wonders if McCabe was in an official capacity or just a curious observer.
