<td width="100%">
This dainty demitasse cup and saucer have a pretty bouquet of flowers alternating with a gold trellis-like pattern. The saucer has four clusters of flowers and four trellises, and the cup has three. The flowers are bright pink, orange, yellow, and blue. Each piece is rimmed with gold; these rims (the gold paint on them) are somewhat worn. The rest of the gold decoration is in better condition. However, the base/bottom of the cup may have once been gold; there is now a portion of it that is lustered. The handle is trimmed in gold, and has an angular shape that creates a pleasingly balanced look. The bottom of the saucer, which is slightly more than 4 1/2 inches in diamter, is marked in gold: Ucagco China Made in Occupied Japan. There is a very tiny nick on the base of the saucer, and no other chips or cracks.
