Beautiful Oak Gerstner Journeyman Machinist Tool Chest. Stamped inside bottom of box: "H Gerstner & Sons Dayton, Ohio". The company was founded in 1906. Each drawer has the number "491" penciled on the back panel. There is no production number on the inside bottom of the box. This model features a locking flip top compartment and 8 drawers over 3 long drawers. The top compartment is felt lined with mirror on inside lid. Nine drawers are felt lined with wood sides and metal bottom, the center drawer is made of metal. The front panel is fitted with a sliding hinge so that when opened, it may be stowed beneath the bottom drawer. In the closed position, the front panel covers the drawers. The top has a Leather Handle. The lock hinge is marked "Gerstner & Sons, Dayton Ohio" and numbered "A50M43". The other 4 hinges are marked "Gerstner Dayton, Ohio". Condition: Some pitting to hinges, felt lining is worn and stained in the top compartment. Company nametag missing from lower center drawer, key not available (Can be ordered from manufacturer). Dimensions: 26" W x 15-3/4" H x 9-1/2" D.

All costs and responsibilities of removal shall be borne by the purchaser/bidder within the time prescribed by the auctioneer. The purchaser/bidder herby indemnifies the auctioneer and the consignor(s) against any and all damages arising from the dismantling and removal of any lots. 17. Purchaser/bidder may contact Larry Collins of Collins Office Furniture at 843-224-0840 to arrange Packing and Shipping or a contractor of their choice. Purchaser/bidder shall have all items removed from auction site within 5 days after auction. 18. Any lots not removed within the prescribed time shall be subject to storage, moving, disposal and service charges at the sole risk and expense of the purchaser. All such lots shall be deemed as abandoned and shall be subject to resale for the recovery of such charges. The purchaser shall also be liable for any rent or damages sustained by the auctioneer for failure to remove any lot. 19. If for any reason, Seymour Antiques & Auctions is unable to deliver any or all of an awarded lot or title thereof, the sole liability of Seymour Antiques & Auctions shall be the refund of any monies paid on the lot. 20. It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to remove their items within the prescribed time. 21. When bidding for an item that has quantity greater than 1, if you are successful, you will receive one of the grouping, not necessarily the first lot.
