A red miner spacesuit from Peter Hyams' sci-fi film Outland. Spacesuits were worn by the Con-Am 27 workers in various scenes as they mined for titanium on Jupiter's moon Io.

Created by Oscar-winning costume designer John Mollo, the intentionally distressed suit is constructed from red cotton and decorated with quilted sections, a "Burke" name patch, a Con-Am 27 patch and strips of webbing edged with blue piping. Four detailed resin components with faux-silver dressing adorn the front.

Accompanying the suit is a helmet consisting of a vacuum-formed plastic shell with affixed non-functioning lights and a clear acrylic visor. The inside is lined with cushioned PVC and is labelled "No. 11". Presented on a custom-made display, the costume shows several dark stains and glue remnants on the left sleeve, while the helmet visor exhibits light scratches. Two cut wires run out of the back of the helmet and the lights on the front-right side and interior are missing. Dimensions (displayed): 38 cm x 57 cm x 202 cm (15" x 22 1/2" x 79 1/2")
