Alba Mark Tucker was a member of the 100th Reg’t Indiana Infantry during the Civil War. On September 3, 1863, Tucker accepted an appointment as Captain and Assistant Quartermaster of Volunteers. The trunk is accompanied with documented information about Captain Tucker. Documents include copies of Field and Staff Muster Rolls, Returns, Record and Pension Office Information, as well as a Request of Leave of Absence dated August 24, 1863 to Lt. Col. John Rawlins of the Department of the Tennessee and a Grant of Leave of Absence from Lt. Col. John Rawlins with the same date.
