AN ORIGINAL ABSTRACT POST-MODERN PAINTING

A magnificent and large original abstract post-modern painting in a geometric design. The painting embodies art deco elements in its style, as well as a spiritually inspiring color palette and composition. Like the roof of some house of worship, the dominant triangular design seems to point the viewer's eye upward, toward some heavenly realm with its shaded-gradient spheres and parallel lines of gently harmonious color transitions in soothing shades of violet and blues. A central band of almost random chaotic movement is almost reminiscent of a perfectly contrasting earthly realm of disorder and chaos. The violets within this band provide a connection and transition to the uplifting and precise order of the background, while the band itself confirms its place between the largest sphere, perhaps representative of the sun (giver of life) and the symmetrical background.

This superb contemporary piece is rather large, at 48 inches high by 36" wide, framed by a narrow chrome band, and is in excellent condition. The artist has signed the painting, done in acrylics on canvas, at the center right, 'Daila' (see photos). Additional photos are available upon request.
