AN ORIGINAL OIL PAINTING OF A PAIR OF IBIS IN A TROPICAL GARDEN<P>
A decorative painting of a pair of white ibis standing in a pond in a tropical garden, among a group of banana trees. Water lilies can be seen in the pond foreground at lower left, along with water grasses. The canvas is framed in wood, patinated with a reddish-brown finish. There are minor imperfections to the wood frame due to age, and a very small tear in the canvas in the pink area beneath one of the bird's breasts (see photo). The artist's signature appears at lower left with an annotation, 'F.J. Dillon, after Botke'. Age is mid-20th century, and dimensions are 17.75 inches high by 15.6 inches wide.
