ONE SCARCE DIV 1 STEVENSGRAPH STYLE HEAD BUTTON
1 Medium size 19th century Woven Silk button-Queen Victoria". This scarce example is similar to the one pictured on Plate 26C of the Bog Book of Buttons by Hughes and Lester. As they describe it is a textilograph and was made for Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1887. These buttons often have been called "Stevens graph" button s but as we know it there are no actual "Stenvensgraph" buttons. This is a wonderful scarce and desirable textile button example.
