Tall at 10-3/4" and having a jarlet-style appendage (pourer) at the shoulder (with a minute chip) and disc-divided tapering top (perfect), its form is not in Wirgin or any other reference I have consulted. The olive Celadon glaze is speckled but nice, and the lower regions biscuit is covered with a light salty deposit indicating it was exavated from a sea environment (Romblon, Visayas, Philippines - a major ancient trading island that brought gold from Butuan to the Chinese ships of the South China Sea). A rare and visually arresting ceramic.
