R-7. F-VF. 3) 25?. 1837. (2767-03). R-7. F-VF, all with stains and small pieces out. [3]
Awfully neat collection of all known denominations from the store of Enoch Shepherd McIntosh from Waterford. All fully signed and issued, with low serials. Groupings such as this emphasize the importance of maintaining a census for obsolete notes. Wolka is likely correct in calling these R-7 notes. What is not said is that these are very possibly unique, but how can we say for sure? The astute collector of Ohio, and more generally of scrip, will snap up lots such as this. In the coming years, as more information is gathered, these will prove to be some of the best buys in obsolete notes.
