Henry Signed Edition of <I>The Voice of the City</B></I></B></I> (New York: The McClure Company, 1908), 243 pages, red cloth with gilt lettering on cover and spine, 12mo (5" x 7.25"), boldly signed on front free endpaper "<I>O.Henry</B></I>". Born William Sydney Porter in Greensboro, North Carolina, O. Henry (1862-1910) became one of America's all-time great short story writers. The signed collection offered here attempts to reveal the soul of New York City via fiction. Binding somewhat loose and covers moderately worn, but generally good condition.
