Marshall</B></I> (likely Albany: Joel Munsell's Sons, 1887), 37 pages, paper wraps, untrimmed. De Céloron, a French Canadian soldier, was the leader of the expedition sent by the governor of New France in 1749 to take official possession of the Ohio Valley and warn English traders to leave. Marshall was an historical scholar from Buffalo, New York whose work helped found the Buffalo Historical Society.
