c1900 - Large framed advertising picture featuring a majestic Elk, with the O.F.C. Logo. The frame measures 24"x36". The O.F.C. distillery was near Leestown KY. OFC stood for "Old Fashion Copper," with the copper being an integral part of the distilling process. It was supervised by the legendary Col. Edmund H. Taylor, whose name was synonymous with whiskeys of the highest quality in the late 1800`s. OFC later joined with Kentucky River Distillery (formerly called Carlisle), owned and operated by Geo. T. Stagg County. Their products were known as Stagg`s Elkhorn. The facilities would eventually became the famous Ancient Age. -61164
