The Nude Woman Kneels On The Hearth Hugging Her Knee With An Arm. A Positive Grace Moves Across Her Face Reflecting The Safety And Warmth She Feels In Her Body And In The Womb Of The Universe. She Was Cast Using The Age-Old Method Of Lost-Wax Casting And Stained With A Brown Patina Finish For Perpetuation. The Handmade Bronze Sculpture Is Mounted Upon A Black Marble Base With The Artist Milo'S Signature. The Artist Milo Lived Most Of His Childhood In Andalusia, Spain. Influenced By An Artistic Family Background, He Began Sculpting At The Age Of Seventeen. After Apprenticing With Several Accomplished Sculptors Both In America And Spain, He Began His Own Work Focusing Equally On Steel And Bronze. Bronze Dimensions With Marble Base: Height 8 X Width 9 inches. Weight: 9 Lbs.
